Carol has extensive international education experience. She worked at the IB Cardiff Office as the IB Language and Learning Manager for many years. She is the author of several, IB documents including: ‘What is an IB Education?’. She is an IB consultant, workshop leader and a site visitor. Carol also holds an educational consultancy qualification from the Institute of London.

Carol was formerly an administrator in Yokohama International School. Carol is currently working at the University of Tsukuba as a guest professor developing teacher-training courses for the International Baccalaureate Educator Certificates.

Carol enjoys the Seto sea scenery. Fishing. Harvesting oranges. Walking, reading, writing and Netflix.

She speaks English, Geordie, French, German, Latin and Japanese
