BA, PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Sean was born and raised in London, England, and has dual citizenship (British and Irish). He has a BA in Politics from the University of Leeds, a PGCE from Nottingham University, and was awarded Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through the University College London (UCL). Apart from teaching in the UK, he previously taught in Thailand (Chiang Mai), South Korea (Busan) and Japan (Fukuoka). Sean spends a lot of time in Northern Thailand where his wife is from. He feels very lucky that he often gets the opportunity to observe elephants in the jungles of Northern Thailand – this is because his wife runs educational trips to help support elephant conservation and welfare in the region. Sean loves hiking and nature and regards Japan, with its distinct seasons, countless mountains, and wonderful onsens, as the perfect country to explore the great outdoors. Sean speaks English and basic Thai.
