BA History, BEd (Secondary), MEd, Integrating Technology, and Qualified Teacher Status
Amber was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. She is entering her 5th year of teaching, all of which has been at international schools. She comes to us from four years in Wuxi, China where she worked at a Korean and International school. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in History, Secondary Education and in her second year of teaching she earned her Masters in Education in Integrating Technology in the Classroom.
She is passionate about teaching History and feels it is important for us to know our past so that we may have a successful future. She wants all students to know that their history is worth learning and that there is value in knowing where you came from. In her spare time she enjoys making jewelry, hiking, is an avid reader, everything Halloween, Taylor Swift, watching movies, coffee, hanging with friends, and traveling. Amber is fluent in English. She is excited to begin learning Japanese.
