A Structured, Inquiry-Driven Approach to Teaching and Learning

Inquiry, intentionality, empowerment and effective feedback are key to learning and teaching at TIS. Students are encouraged to think critically and creatively using a structured, learner centered approach. In addition to the traditional school subjects, students are also taught strategies and skills to shape successful learners including, self-regulation, reflection, empathy, resilience and problem-solving. Our learning philosophy extends beyond our students to our professional learning.
