"There is a deliberate link between professional development and sustained classroom practice, with targeted opportunities provided for groups of teachers."
IB Evaluation Report (2019)
We foster an open climate of risk taking, questioning, self reflection and goal-setting. Distributed leadership is nurtured at our school. Everyone’s voice, ideas and initiatives are encouraged. Staff are motivated and empowered to lead and teach others; irrespective of the position on their name badge. Our leaders are learners too.
We are committed to working with some of the world’s greatest educational thinkers. Our initiatives are focused, strategic and sustained. For example, Kath Murdoch – a world leader in the area of inquiry learning – collaborates with our school on a biannual basis. This relationship has sustained for well over over a decade.
"The amount I have grown as a professional over the years is extraordinary"
