Jared brings over 10 years of international teaching experience to the classroom. His teaching career brought him to the Dominican Republic, Poland and Germany before arriving in Japan in 2015. He has been a PYP educator since 2009, and has enjoyed supporting and growing with students and colleagues to learn and embrace the practical methods and lifelong learning skills that the program brings. Growing up next to the Rocky Mountains in Canada, Jared has grown up with and continues to seek adventure in the outdoors by skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking and more. Recently, he has also added fatherhood and renovating an old house in the Japanese mountains to his list of adventures. Jared speaks English, Spanish, Polish, German; his Japanese is still a work in progress.
