Kate has experience teaching for 28 years in Canada, Russia, Zambia, South Korea and China. Kate and her husband Kerry have three daughters, one granddaughter and another on the way! Kate has taught in PYP classrooms across grades 1-5 and has been a learning support teacher for a number of years. She has held the positions of Language Arts coordinator, School Based Team chair and team lead for various PYP grade level teams. Kate enjoys cycle touring on a tandem bike and has toured in Korea, Ireland and Europe as well as the west coast of Canada. She enjoys helping students become passionate inquirers, connected community members and develop a love for reading! Kate speaks English.
