  • MY STORY

Kei graduated from a high school in Japan and then went on to major in aviation at a university in Hawaii. He obtained his Private Pilot License (PPL) for both single-engine and multi-engine aircraft, as well as his Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and Instrument Rating. After graduating from university, Kei worked as a first officer for an American airline, flying the B-737 and B-777. He later moved to Hawaii and joined a sightseeing flight company that used Cessna aircraft to provide tours for Japanese tourists.

In addition to conducting sightseeing flights, he also served as an instructor for students looking to obtain their pilot licenses. During his time at the company, he trained approximately 300 students. As of 2025, Kei has accumulated a total of 5,800 flight hours. Currently, he is working with the maintenance team at TIS while undergoing training to convert his American pilot licenses to Japanese licenses, conducting this training at an airport in Japan. Kei speaks Japanese and English.
