Ken has previously taught physics in Texas for four years using a project-based learning approach. He has also gained valuable research experience as a research assistant in graduate school and as a teacher researcher in the fields of physics curriculum and instruction and civic learning in transdisciplinary contexts, respectively. He is excited to start off his international school teaching journey at TIS. In his free time, Ken learns about the science of skincare and haircare, but you can also find him recording and editing vocals for songs and covers. Ken is fluent in English and conversational in Japanese.
