Currier, who usually goes by Currie, was born and raised in beautiful Portland, Oregon, on the west coast of the United States. He has been teaching around the world for the last 15 years as both an elementary homeroom teacher and an EAL support teacher. When Currie is not having a blast in the classroom with his students you can find him out exploring the city, eating all the delicious food, rock climbing, motorbiking or hiking.
Ramen is definitely one of his favorite Japanese dishes, and he is on a mission to eat as many bowls as possible while living in Japan. Currie speaks English, as well as basic German, Thai and Vietnamese and is working hard to add Japanese to his repertoire.
