Matt has called Japan home for sixteen years. He has ten years of IB Primary Years Program teaching experience in international schools. Matt began his international teaching career as a grade two classroom teacher. After teaching in grade two for eight years, he taught in grade one and grade four. Prior to international school teaching, Matt taught English in Japanese kindergartens, elementary schools, and junior high schools in the Japanese countryside. During the weekend, he still loves to escape the big city. These past few years, Matt has gained an interest in mindfulness and anything Zen. Matt speaks English and Japanese.
