Meika, originally from Brisbane, Australia, joins us as she embarks on her fifth year of teaching. She is enthusiastic and eager about immersing herself in the international education environment here at TIS. Meika is a dedicated and passionate educator who values forming positive relationships and supporting students’ social and emotional well-being.
She is an avid sports enthusiast and particularly enjoys watching basketball and AFL (Go the mighty Brisbane Lions!). Outside of the classroom, you’ll find her spending time with friends and family, reading, running, and shopping. Meika is fluent in English. She is eager to learn Japanese and is studying in her free time.
