After decades of living in the U.S., Naomi returned to Japan in 2024. In the San Francisco Bay Area, she taught at public schools, focusing on instrumental and general music. She also established and managed a bilingual daycare.

Prior to becoming an educator, she played a multifaceted role in each community she lived in, including occupations such as architectural consultant, theater sound designer, and city hall building permit tech. As a passionate cat lover, she has volunteered at an animal shelter as a cat socializer.

She has been actively involved in the community of musicians and remains as an adamant student of jazz violin and voice.

Naomi is fluent in Japanese and English. She began learning French during Covid lockdown. Since then, she has learned several songs in French and Portuguese.
