BSc Health and Physical Education, MA International Education Administration, Qualified Teacher Status

Alex is from Oakland California. Over the past decade, he has worked as a physical education teacher, assistant principal, and activities director across Tunisia, Thailand, the US, and Japan. He holds a Master degree in International Education Administration and is currently working toward his Doctorate in Education. Outside of teaching, he is a huge fan of all sports especially rugby, football and soccer. He has a passion for martial arts and is currently practicing Kendo while in Japan and playing as much padel as he can. He loves to explore new cultures and enjoys trying new food and restaurants. He is looking forward to teaching and coaching at TIS and to bringing a lot of positivity, creativity to the school.
