Our Unwavering Commitment to Student Welfare

At TIS, nothing is more important than the safety and well-being of your children. We understand that entrusting your child to our care is an act of faith, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Our commitment to safeguarding is not just a policy, it is the very foundation of our school’s culture, built upon our core values of Trust, Inspire, and Support. We are dedicated to creating a nurturing and secure environment where every child feels seen, heard, and protected.

What Safeguarding Means at TIS

For us, safeguarding is a comprehensive and proactive approach to ensuring the safety of your child. It extends beyond simply responding to concerns; it is about actively preventing all forms of harm. This includes protecting students from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and any situation that could compromise their physical or emotional safety.

Our approach is rooted in trust. We foster an environment where students and parents can trust that we will act with integrity. We believe that safeguarding is a shared responsibility, and every member of our community from our leadership and staff to our students and parents plays a vital role.

Our Safeguarding Practices and People

To deliver on our promise, we have implemented a robust framework built on global best practices.

Comprehensive Training: All TIS staff, without exception, undergo rigorous safeguarding training. This commitment helps inspire our team to be vigilant, proactive, and compassionate advocates for every child’s safety.

Secure Recruitment: We maintain the highest standards in our hiring process. Every new member of our team undergoes thorough criminal background and reference checks to ensure we are building a safe community of trusted adults for your child.

Safeguarding Team: Our Designated Safeguarding DSL and team are highly trained professionals who serve as the primary point of contact for all safeguarding concerns. They are responsible for overseeing our policies, providing guidance, and acting as a clear pathway for communication.
