BA (Hons) Decorative Arts, PGCE Secondary Art and Design Teaching Certificate, and Qualified Teacher Status.
Anya has six years experience of teaching visual arts and began her career working in secondary schools in England teaching fine art, photography and graphic design. She has spent the last two years teaching visual arts in an international school in Tokyo and is enchanted by all of the fantastic art, craft and design that this vibrant city has to offer.
Anya is passionate about creativity and makes artwork in a variety of media including silversmithing, painting and illustration. In her spare time, Anya enjoys running and has run in a number of half marathons. She also enjoys hiking and can often be found heading out to the mountains during school holidays. Anya speaks English and has started learning some Japanese.
