BA English, BEd, MEd School Counseling, and Qualified Teacher Status
Ariel was born and raised in the United States, and studied in Texas until her second year of university, during which she did a study abroad at a Japanese university. She then moved to Canada and finished a B. Arts in English Language and Literature and a B. Education. She moved back to Texas after five years in Canada and started her career in education, teaching English Language and Literature, English as an Additional Language, and Dyslexia Reading. She then transitioned to a support role and managed a special education program for a year while finishing her M. Education in School Counseling and has spent the last three years working as a middle school counselor.
She is entering her ninth year of education. Ariel’s passion is traveling both internationally and domestically, and she especially loves visiting countries in Asia. When she is at home, she likes reading, trying new cuisines, and playing with her two cats! Ariel is fluent in English and has been studying Japanese since high school and is looking forward to learning more.
