Gary has ten years teaching experience; three years in the English state system and seven years internationally, four in Bonn, Germany and three at TIS. He has taught students from grades 1 to 4. Gary has experience teaching the Columbia Teachers College Reading and Writing Project model and was the primary school maths coordinator at his school in Bonn. Gary is an avid sportsman (particularly running), he was the sports coordinator at his school in England, and has coached a range of sports clubs including football, rugby, running and swimming. When he is not teaching you might see him jogging past Tokyo’s iconic landmarks. Gary speaks English.
