Martine has twenty-six years of teaching experience. She joined TIS in 2001 during which she has enjoyed numerous professional development opportunities. She joined the UK delegation for a Reggio Preschools study week in Reggio Emilia and attended a variety of IB PYP Workshops with a focus on Early Years education. She has actively pursued enhancing practitioner courses on Social Thinking, as well as training in Columbia University’s (New York) Teachers College Reading & Writing Project.
She has also participated in the MLATS workshop: Teaching and Learning about Mathematics-using inquiry-based learning effectively. She is an avid potter, loves photography and visiting parks. Martine speaks English and Dutch.
