Myk has been teaching and coaching for six years in his home country, the Philippines, and started teaching internationally in 2017. Japan is his second international posting after teaching in an international school in Vietnam.
He has held roles as a PE and health teacher, sports consultant, and Extra-Curricular Activities coordinator. He was also the point person for a high school sports scholarship program for his former school in Hanoi.
He has taught a wide range of students from pre-kindergarten to national level athletes and he has found his passion in working with young inquisitive students.
Myk enjoys learning new sports and activities and his current favourites are boxing and sumo! Myk speaks English and Filipino.
